Terms & Conditions
Policy

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Integrity Home Exteriors website (integrityhomeexteriors.com), requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

For active service engagements, your signed project agreement governs the specific terms of your project, including pricing, scope, and payment schedule. These Terms and Conditions are supplementary to — and do not supersede — the terms of your signed project agreement in cases of conflict.

2. Services Offered

Integrity Home Exteriors, LLC provides residential home exterior services in Northwest Ohio, including:

  • Roofing (installation, replacement, and repair)
  • Siding installation and replacement
  • Window installation and replacement
  • Entry door installation
  • Gutter installation and gutter cover systems
  • Attic insulation
  • Lawn and landcare services

Service availability may vary by location and season. IHE reserves the right to decline service at its discretion.

3. Licensing and Insurance

Integrity Home Exteriors, LLC is a licensed home improvement contractor in the State of Ohio. License information is available upon request and may be verified through the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board (OCILB).

IHE maintains general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all work performed on your property. Certificates of insurance are available upon written request prior to project commencement. IHE's licensed subcontractors are required to carry their own insurance as a condition of engaging with IHE.

4. Estimates, Quotes, and the Cost Calculator

Any estimate or quote provided by IHE — whether through our website, our online cost calculator, phone, email, or in-person consultation — is an approximation only and does not constitute a binding offer or contract.

Our online cost calculator is provided as an educational tool to help homeowners understand approximate project costs. Calculator results are based on general assumptions and regional averages. Actual project pricing may differ materially based on site conditions, material selection, labor, permits, and other factors. Calculator outputs are not quotes and are not binding on IHE.

Final, binding pricing is set forth only in a written project agreement signed by an authorized representative of IHE and the customer. No verbal agreement, email, or estimate constitutes a binding commitment to perform work at a specified price.

Promotional offers and discounts advertised on our website or in broadcast media are valid for specified time periods and may be subject to additional eligibility requirements. IHE reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotional offers at any time.

5. Project Agreements and Scope of Work

All work performed by Integrity Home Exteriors is governed by a written project agreement signed by both parties prior to any work commencing. The project agreement will specify the scope of work, materials, pricing, payment schedule, and estimated timeline.

Permits

IHE will obtain all required building permits for the work described in your project agreement unless otherwise specified in writing. Permit fees are included in your project price unless identified as a separate line item. IHE will coordinate required municipal inspections. It is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure access to the property for inspections.

Hidden Conditions and Change Orders

Home exterior projects occasionally reveal hidden conditions not visible during the initial estimate — including but not limited to rotted roof decking, deteriorated sheathing, structural deficiencies, or concealed water damage. When such conditions are discovered, IHE will notify the homeowner promptly and provide a written change order describing the additional scope and cost before proceeding.

IHE will not perform additional work beyond the original scope without written change order authorization from the homeowner. Execution of a change order constitutes agreement to the additional charges and any timeline adjustment.

Material Substitution

IHE will make every effort to install the materials specified in your project agreement. In the event that a specified product is discontinued, unavailable, or subject to supply chain delay, IHE will notify you and propose a comparable substitute of equal or greater quality. Material substitutions require written customer acknowledgment before installation proceeds.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in your signed project agreement. General payment practices are as follows:

Payments are accepted by check, credit card, or financing as offered. IHE reserves the right to assess a service charge on balances not paid within the timeframe specified in your project agreement. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection proceedings, and IHE reserves the right to file a mechanics lien on the property in accordance with Ohio lien law.

Note: If you are financing your project through a third-party lender, your payment obligations to IHE remain independent of any dispute with the financing company. IHE is not responsible for delays or issues arising from third-party financing.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customer Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a signed project agreement, you must notify IHE in writing. The following general guidelines apply, subject to the specific terms of your project agreement:

IHE-Initiated Delays or Rescheduling

IHE will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeline. Delays caused by weather, supplier shortages, permitting delays, subcontractor availability, or other circumstances outside IHE's control do not constitute a breach of agreement and may not serve as grounds for cancellation without cost.

IHE will notify you of any material schedule changes as promptly as practicable.

8. Warranties and the Inspection Protection Plan

Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

IHE provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on completed exterior projects. This warranty covers defects in the labor and installation performed by IHE or its authorized subcontractors for as long as the original customer owns the property. This warranty is non-transferable unless IHE agrees otherwise in writing.

To make a workmanship warranty claim, contact IHE in writing at warranty@integrityhomeexteriors.com. IHE will acknowledge your claim within 5 business days and schedule an inspection within a reasonable time. If a covered defect is confirmed, IHE will remediate the defect at no charge to you.

Manufacturer Warranties

Many products installed by IHE — including roofing systems, siding, windows, and doors — carry separate manufacturer warranties. IHE will provide you with manufacturer warranty documentation applicable to your project at the time of completion. Manufacturer warranty claims are handled directly with the manufacturer; IHE will assist you in initiating a claim where reasonably possible.

Gold Standard Protection Plan (GSP)

Customers who complete a project with IHE are enrolled in our Gold Standard Protection Plan, which provides annual exterior inspections for the duration of your participation.

To maintain enrollment in the GSP:

IHE reserves the right to modify the GSP program with reasonable notice to enrolled customers. Modifications will not retroactively affect work already warrantied.

9. Use of Subcontractors

IHE uses licensed subcontractors for certain roofing and specialty services. All subcontracted work is assigned, supervised, and quality-controlled by IHE staff. Subcontractors are required to be licensed, insured, and to adhere to IHE's workmanship and safety standards.

IHE assumes responsibility for the quality of subcontracted work to the same degree as work performed by IHE employees. Your warranty coverage is not diminished by the use of subcontractors. If subcontracted work results in property damage or a workmanship defect, your warranty claim should be directed to IHE, not the subcontractor.

10. Property Conditions and Risk During Active Projects

IHE will take reasonable precautions to protect your property during project execution, including tarping work areas, protecting landscaping, and conducting daily site cleanup. However, certain risks are inherent to exterior construction work.

IHE is not responsible for:

You agree to maintain homeowners insurance coverage during the project period. IHE's liability insurance does not substitute for your homeowners coverage.

11. Force Majeure

IHE shall not be in breach of any project agreement, and shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform, where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond IHE's reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to: severe weather conditions, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, material shortages, labor disputes, utility outages, government orders or restrictions, or other events that make performance impossible or commercially impracticable.

In a force majeure event, IHE will notify you as soon as practicable and work to reschedule performance as quickly as conditions allow. Force majeure does not entitle either party to cancel the project agreement without cost unless the delay extends beyond [X] calendar days.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IHE's total liability to you in connection with any claim arising from your use of our website or our services shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to IHE for the specific project or service giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall IHE be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of use, loss of revenue, or cost of substitute services — even if IHE has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits IHE's liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not use our website to:

IHE makes no warranty that the website will be available without interruption, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to suspend or modify website access at any time.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the IHE website and in our marketing materials — including text, photographs of completed projects, crew images, logos, brand marks, and design elements — is the property of Integrity Home Exteriors, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

You may share our content on personal social media for non-commercial purposes, provided you credit Integrity Home Exteriors and do not alter or misrepresent the content. Commercial reproduction, redistribution, or use of our content without prior written permission is prohibited.

IHE's brand marks — including our name, birdmark logo, and the tagline 'let's build better' — may not be used in any manner that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without our written consent.

15. Customer Reviews, Photos, and Testimonials

By submitting a review, testimonial, photograph, or other content to IHE — whether through our website, email, social media, or in person — you grant IHE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in our marketing materials, website, social media channels, and advertising, without additional compensation to you.

You represent that you own or have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not violate the rights of any third party. IHE reserves the right to decline to publish or to remove any submitted content at its discretion.

16. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your project with IHE, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally. You agree to contact IHE in writing, describe the issue in reasonable detail, and allow IHE 15 business days to respond before taking further action.

Mediation

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, the parties agree to submit the dispute to non-binding mediation before a mutually agreed mediator in Lucas County, Ohio, prior to initiating any legal proceeding. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally between the parties unless the mediator determines otherwise.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not resolved through mediation shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lucas County, Ohio, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Waiver of Class Action

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute with IHE will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, collective, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against IHE.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Integrity Home Exteriors, LLC, its officers, employees, subcontractors, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of our website in violation of these Terms; (b) your breach of any representation or obligation under these Terms; or (c) your negligent or intentional acts in connection with your property or our work.

18. Third-Party Platforms and Social Media

IHE maintains active profiles on third-party platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, and Houzz, among others. Interactions with IHE on those platforms are subject to the terms and policies of those platforms, not these Terms and Conditions.

Nothing communicated through a social media channel, review platform, or third-party advertising platform constitutes a binding agreement, warranty, or commitment on behalf of IHE. All binding commitments require a signed written agreement as described in these Terms.

19. Changes to These Terms

IHE may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be posted on our website with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers with active accounts or projects. Continued use of our website following a posted update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to signed project agreements already in effect.
